can feature text and/or pictograms to maximise the impact of the safety
warning required as well as the option of integrating flashing ambers
lanterns.
Dambach can supply any size
of requirement from a single stand-alone sign to large integrated signage
systems based on either fibre optic or LED displays.
Sign activation is triggered
once a vehicle has been detected travelling in excess of the programmable
speed limit set within the sign. Vehicle speed detection is also optimised
either by industry standard microwave units or by the use of inductive loop
detectors set in the road.
The signal generated can activate a ‘delay-on’ timer but normally the sign
activates immediately illuminating the warning message and flashing the
amber lanterns if fitted.
For
locations where there is a lack of mains power, Dambach can offer both wind
and solar powered signs subject to the suitability of local conditions. |
